ABET Diafos® Translucent Laminates

Diafos by Abet is unique in the laminate world. A truly translucent laminate, Diafos is made from melamine and is dimensional, the patterns vary within the depth of the material to give Diafos a rich and deep look. There are two varieties - One comes with a phenolic backer and is suitable to glued up to any substrate. The other is finished on both sides allowing light to pass through, as pictured to the right on this page. It is available in solid colors and patterns.

Because Diafos is a melamine material, not the same as other HPL laminates, it requires some care in the production process which Kenmark representatives can help with. As for performance and durability - Melamine is a very hard and scratch resistant material.
